MODULAR Mining Systems says that the latest IntelliMine asset management technologies are being installed at one of Australia’s largest independent coal operations, Curragh Mine.
The company says that DISPATCH mine management system, MineCare maintenance management system, and the ProVision machine guidance system are being installed at the mine.
Curragh currently produces around 9 million tonnes of coal per year, but with these new solutions, the mine expects to produce higher volumes with increased efficiency and safety.
Curragh claims that it selected Modular systems due to the company’s flexibility to fill client-specific needs, as well as the features offered by IntelliMine technologies.
Carl Ross, Manager of Business Development for Modular Australasia says that Curragh was able to justify the implementation of Modular systems over a very short period of time.
