FANQUIP says that it is helping mining companies meet OH&S guidelines that require employee shower blocks incorporate adequate heating to protect the well being of workers.
The company has modified its electric heater fan technology so units may be easily retrofitted onto bathhouses used in mining and quarrying operations.
Fanquip says that the fan heaters provide warmth and comfort for personnel during ablutions and deliver long lasting heating quality with minimum energy output.
The heaters are made of heavy duty galvanized steel to protect against rust and moisture. They also have no naked flame heat generation to eliminate the risk of burns or workplace fires.
The heater fans range in element power from 3.0kW to 36.0kW with a 129,600 heat energy output.
The supplier also produces a mobile heater fan which is easily wheeled into position for any operation requiring its heat source to be moved.
