ACTIVE Air has released an exhaust ventilation system designed to remove coal dust in hazardous work environments.
According to the company, the FD 090 is a dust extraction system that removes dust particles that may lead to long-term throat and skin irritations.
The unit runs from a standard power point and requires no installation.
WorkCover NSW says coal dust can have long term affects to workers’ health and may lead to lung cancer or fibrosis.
According to the manufacturer, the unit features a robust and sturdy design for energy efficient, effective filtration of coal and wood particles as well as metal and sulphur dust.
