EXAIR has released a new airflow clamp to assist dust and particle removal from coal mining equipment.
According to the company, the Super Ion Air Wipe clamps around continuously moving parts to provide total air coverage and maximise ionised airflow.
The unit is said to provide a uniform 360° ionised airstream to eliminate static electricity and contaminants and is effective for several feet from where it is mounted.
The force of the wiping action can be controlled with an optional pressure regulator and higher pressure can be applied for longer distance requirements.
According to the manufacturer, the product has a lightweight aluminium construction and is easy to mount.
The unit is available in a 51mm diameter that has an air consumption of 30SCFM and a 102mm diameter with a consumption of 50SCFM when powered at 80PSIG.
The Super Ion Air Wipe is available in Australia from Compressed Air.
