Thieves target QLD coal mining camps

POLICE say that there has been a spate of robberies at coal mining camps in Queensland.

The latest involved the theft of as many as 50 television sets from a donga at MAC Services Group accommodation on the Peak Downs Highway.

The authority claims that it was the second time in three months that the mining camp had been targeted.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333.
